Bugibba is a new built tourist town between the two coasts and a former suburb of the now smaller St. Paul's. The water of the Mediterranean Sea surrounding the peninsula Qawra, is one of the cleanest of the Maltese Islands.
The peninsula between Salina Bay and St. Paul's Bay is now the second largest tourist resort on the island. Around the Bay Square and the waterfront promenade there are pubs, restaurants and souvenir shops.
The center is located at the Bay Square where there is also a small sandy beach. Nevertheless, Bugibba is a quiet holiday resort.
