Discos in Malta

 Axis: St. George’s Road. Open in summer daily 22.00-4.00, Fri, Sat, Sun 19.00-4.00; in winter at the weekend. Giant disco for 3000 people with three different levels, especially very well attended on Friday and Saturday, with laser show and international guest DJ's.

 Bamboo Bar:  Dragonara  Road. Open-air terrace to the entrance of the casino, with tropical palms and parrots. Various topics nights with real Fiesta music and guest DJ’s. Friday free champagne for all women

 BJ’s: Ball Street. Live music club, playing jazz and blues and sometimes live music of Maltese or foreign young talents.

 Coconut Grove: Wilga Street 1. Huge Disco at three levels, pool and pool bar. Place for non-rave teens who prefer to hear classical rock or rock 'n' roll.

 Empire: St. George’s Road 74-77. Dance Palace on four levels with four bars and two dance floors for dancing.

 Eden Century:  Triq Santu Wistin,  St. George’s Bay.   A modern cinema centre for boring rainy days. Next door, there is the Vodafone-funded IMAX cinema and the Eden Superbowl. The highlight is the Eden Ice Arena, a ice rink, which can be also in August very attractive. Even Saturday with disco.

 Ghall Kafe: 116 Triq San Georg. Side entrance of Triq ball, one of the biggest Internet cafes with many PC's, games and a good bar, open 24 hours.

 Guy’s Bar Plough & Anchor Restaurant:      Main  Street  1.  One of the original English-style pubs. The publican collects anthropomorphic beer mug, in which you can recognise cartoon characters, stars, and politicians. Here you can try a huge selection of malt whisky and over 400 other spirits.

 Peppermint Park:  Dragonara  Junction,  Triq  San  Georg.  A favourite pub in the centre of the Paceville.

Discos in Gozo

 La Grotta: Rabat Road. A disco at several levels, sometimes outdoors, sometimes in a rock cave with various dance floors and bars. The disco has a capacity of 3000 people.

 Echoes: A little quiet night club and bar, right next to the disco La Grotta.

 Astra & Aurora: Triq ir-Repubblika. Two privately financed operas, performances can be found at irregular intervals. In the remaining time they act as a meeting point for the respective clubs bands.
