The Manoel Theatre is the only theatre of the island and dates back to the year 1732. It is the oldest surviving theatre in Europe, where performances are still held. A visit is worthwhile, even without performing. There are Monday to Friday at 10:30 clock and 11:30 clock and clock Saturday 11.30 guided tours. The theatre have a total space of 720 spectators at four ranks.
