In Salina Bay is the little town Qawra passing right into Bugibba. In the modern city centre are numerous hotels, being the second largest tourism centre of the island. In Bugibba you find hotels, Qawra is more about apartment facilities. Despite of various entertainment opportunities you can spend a recovering, peaceful vacation here compared to St. Julianīs.
The great salt pans of Salina Bay, created by the Order of Saint John, are still in use today.
