Wasn’t sure what to expect but this boat trip totally delivered! Went with my partner and our two kids (aged 9 and 12) and honestly, everyone found something to love. The crew were sooooo friendly (like, genuinely interested in chatting not just being polite). We did the Gozo add-on, which was def worth it for the little extra cost. Blue Lagoon was PACKED but water was EPIC and the kids didn’t care at all. Only thing—bring snacks if ur fussy, the bar is pretty basic (but cheap). Would do again!
Really enjoyed the day trip, especially the caves! Group was a bit bigger than I’d pictured, so seats in shade were gone by the time we boarded (get there early if that matters to you). Captain gave lots of info and stopped for photos, which was cool. Blue Lagoon is GORGEOUS, but wow it’s busy in August. Only downside was the return, felt a bit rushed at the end but overall, still a highlight of our holiday.
Took my parents with me (they’re 60+) and it was chill. Crew looked after them and even helped mum on/off the boat. Loved the smaller boat size, we could actually hear the guide and not just feel like cattle. Would 100% recommend for families. Bring hats, shade is limited!!
If you get seasick, maybe not the trip for you. The water was super choppy and I spent most of the time thinking I was gonna lose my lunch. Everyone else seemed to be having a blast tho. The caves were cool but I missed a lot of it. Blue Lagoon is stunning but it’s sooo crowded.
Blue Lagoon = unreal. Never seen water that blue. Boat is kinda old but it works. Staff play music and make it fun. Only negative: the drinks on board are cash only, so remember ur euros. Would go again but earlier in the season when it’s not as busy.
I loved it! Went solo and met some cooool people on board. Captain was a legend, gave us history and silly jokes. Swam in the lagoon, rented a snorkel for 5 euro and saw so many fish. Gozo was cute but I wish I’d had more time to wander. Def worth the money.
Group of 6 friends, had a fun day out. The crew was laid back, let us play our own tunes on the return leg. Blue Lagoon gets wild busy after noon, but St Paul’s stop was much chillier (less people, more time to swim). Would recommend but bring sunscreen – nowhere to hide from sun.
Such a good vibe all day! Crew made sure everyone was safe and happy. Loved jumping off the boat (my first time!). Music was old school but that just made it better. Bring your own snacks if you’re picky. Wish I could do it again tomorrow.
Best boat trip I have been on. Excellent, attentive and friendly staff, beautiful scenery. Gozo on the minibus was well worth the extra euros. Enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you everyone.
The views are pretty great but honestly, there’s a LOT of people. Waiting for the toilets on board was a pain. Crew did their best but the boat felt crowded. Blue Lagoon is a must-see but I probably wouldn’t do this trip again in high season.
Perfect day out with my boyfriend. Boat wasn’t too packed and we managed to snag front seats. Guide gave us some fun facts. LOVED the cave detour! Quick tip—bring a towel to sit on, seats get hot in the sun.
Sunny day, friendly staff, and the water at Blue Lagoon was insane. Only thing, wish we had 30 mins more at Gozo, felt rushed. Also, bring a power bank if you wanna take loads of pics. My phone nearly died!
Absolutely LOVED this trip! Went with my sister, both of us are proper scared of boats but the crew made us feel safe. We got drinks from the bar (not expensive!) and sunbathed on deck. The caves were mindblowing. 10/10 would go again.
The crew were lovely and the boat was nice and clean. Timings were good and everything ran smooth, no waiting about. It was easy to find in saint Paul's bay too. However, the waves were SO choppy and on a little boat like that it made us feel really really sick. When we got to Gozo we decided to not get the boat back and to get the ferry (€5) instead to avoid the sickness. The blue lagoon was SO busy too, they say you need a pass to get in but don't stop the amount of people having one, nowhere to put any belongings, leave them on the boat is my advice.
Took my parents for their anniversary and they loved every second. The boat was comfortable, staff helped my dad with mobility issues, and we had plenty of time at each stop. Blue Lagoon was breathtaking. Snacks on board were cheap (bring cash!).
Good value for the money, esp if you do the Gozo minibus add-on. Boat is a bit basic but sturdy. Crew made sure everyone was ok in the heat. Would go again, but maybe bring own food if ur picky.
Captain & bosun were so friendly and organised on board. This was our first time in Malta, amazing views and memories made. Thank you so much it was such an amazing experience. Worth every penny would highly recommend this to anyone. We can’t wait to come back.
What a relaxing day! Not rushed at all. Got to swim, explore, and just chill on deck. The caves were my fav part—felt like we were in a movie set. The staff even gave us pineapple slices on the way home. Little things like that made it SPECIAL.
Boat trip was ok, but a bit too long for my taste. Seven hours in the sun is a lot. Crew was nice, but wish there were more shaded seats. Water at Blue Lagoon is unreal though.
Super fun outing with my friends. We loved the music and the chance to swim at each stop. Only issue was getting back on the boat with wet feet—watch out, it’s slippery! Crew helped though.
The boat trip was great, we first made a 1.5h stop at blue lagoon which was very beautiful. Then we hopped back onto the boat and got dropped off at Gozo port where it there was the option to get a bus into Victoria, but we decided to hang around the port where there were a few small quiet restaurants where we stopped for lunch. Once back on the boat, we made one final stop at St. Paul island where there was the option to either explore the island or swim. Snorkels were available to rent at €5. Our captain and skipper were very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you for a wonderful trip!
Took this trip today with friends. Very well run with friendly and informative crew. Information regarding times for meet ups was drip fed to us as the day went on so as not to overload us! We were additionally given the option to take the bus trip to and from the drop off point in Gozo to the capital Victoria. There was a small extra cost for this but it was well worth doing. A piece of advice: if you are going to the Blue Lagoon don’t forget to separately download the QR code as you will need to show this on arrival. This is free, but if you want a deckchair and parasol it’s an extra cost (run by the BL authorities). We all had a great day - would definitely recommend this boat trip.
Very well organised, friendly crew, smaller boat, we prefer that. Never felt rushed, saw everything that was promised. Caves were amazing. Highly recommend. Thank you.
Good for families! Took my kids (5 & 8) and they loved the swimming spots. Remember to pack extra towels—ours were soaked after first stop. Crew had life vests for little ones which was a plus.
All fine, but maybe not for ppl who hate crowds. July = busy. The caves were coool, but I wanted more time to swim. Bring ur own snacks because the bar ran out of sandwiches.

Took my two teens out for a surprise boat day and wow, we ALL had a blast!! The crew were super chill and didn’t mind my kids running around (they even let them steer the boat for a sec, shh). Sun loungers on top deck, cold drinks, and the water was just sparkling. We did the speedboat to the caves—bit bumpy but so worth. Make sure you bring extra sunscreen, I missed a spot and now my left shoulder is lobster red. Would 100% do this again!
I went solo and made friends on deck! Music was vibey, captain had jokes, and the water was UNREAL. Bring flip flops, the deck gets HOT. Also, saw some jellyfish but crew warned us where not to swim. Def worth the price. Bring a waterproof bag for ur phone!
Not bad but not wow. Boat left on time, seats were okay. Too many people for my taste. Views from the top deck are lovely tho. Blue Lagoon is overrated but my kids liked the schute. Food is average. Bring snacks if you have picky eaters.
So much fun!!! Water was crystal clear, jumping off the boat was EPIC. Crew kept us laughing and the drinks were cold. We did the caves tour too, worth the extra euros. Will be back with my mates for sure.
Went with my boyfriend, perfect chill day. We grabbed two sunbeds on the top, got a bit sunburnt but no regrets. The captain is a LEGEND, handled the boat like a pro. Little dog Louie is adorable – he sits at the wheel sometimes! Only thing: bring cash for the bar, they don’t do cards.
Best boat trip I’ve been on, hands down. The top deck is where it’s at. Sun, music, cold drinks, and the view... Stay upstairs if you can! Staff let us know where to get the best pics. Don’t bother with the fries, but the cocktails are actually strong.
Took my girlfriend for her birthday and it was a HIT. Crew sang happy birthday, she got a free drink, and we swam for hours. The cave tour was cool too, but bring a hat, it’s blazing on top deck. Will remember this day for a long time.
The water at Blue Lagoon really is that turquoise. I lost my sunglasses but found a new friend instead. The boat’s bar is reasonably priced (beer for 3 EUR, not bad). If you want shade, get there early!
Arrived 15 mins before departure and almost didn’t get a seat outside, so get there early! Once on the water, everything was chill. I liked the music and the views. Didn’t love the queue for the bathroom, but all in all, a good day.
I am not a boat person but this trip was SMOOTH. Barely felt any waves. Crew was funny and helpful, and the drinks were not expensive. The caves are worth seeing, even if you’re not into boats. Would do again.
Nice day out, good value for the price. Boat got a little crowded but you can always find a spot if you move around. The captain was friendly and the crew kept things moving. Not luxury but fun.
Best part of our Malta trip! Crew is so friendly, especially to kids. We went as a family of 5 and everyone had a blast. Glass bottom was cool for the little ones. Bring cash for snacks!
Pretty good boat trip, nothing fancy but does the job. Blue Lagoon is stunning, but mega crowded. Crew does a good job keeping things organised. Caves are a must.
Good value! Big boat, lots of people, but still fun. Caves tour was short but interesting. Could use more shade on deck. Take seasickness pills if you get queasy.
Went solo and ended up chatting with some other travelers. Crew is relaxed and happy to help. The bar’s got decent prices for a boat. Sunburn is real though, so don’t forget sunscreen!
Loved this! My teens were glued to the slide, and I just enjoyed the sun. Crew let us know where to get the best pics. Music was a bit loud but set the vibe. Would go again.
Fantastic experience, especially the speedboat to the caves. Got soaking wet but didn’t care. Crew is fun and helpful. Food is decent, drinks are cold. Don’t forget your towel!
Nice boat ride. A bit tooo many people for me, but the views make up for it. Caves were interesting and the crew pointed out cool facts. Bring snacks, food is just ok.
Boat was late leaving and kinda chaotic boarding. Once on, it was fine. Crew friendly, water beautiful, but food pricey. Would go again but would bring my own snacks.
Good trip for the price. Bring a hat and lots of sunscreen. Caves tour was short but fun. Crew are helpful and make sure everyone feels safe. Bit crowded.
We LOVED the caves tour. The boat goes right inside and you can see everything up close. Water is so clear, you can see the fish. Crew is friendly and funny. Top day out.
Best part of our holiday! The crew, the music, the water – all amazing. Blue Lagoon is busy but beautiful. Speedboat to caves is a must. Bring flip flops for the deck.
Solo trip and met some cool folks. Crew was laid-back and helpful. The caves are stunning. Bring your own snacks and water. Would do again.
Crowded boat, but water is gorgeous. Not enough shade, and the bathrooms could be cleaner. Caves were interesting. Okay if you can handle crowds.
Went with my best friend and we had a BLAST. The water is so blue, and the slide was hilarious. Crew is friendly and drinks are cold. Would go again.
